Announcement of the invitation to attend the annual general assembly meeting on 2025-5-24

Dear Shareholders of the Commercial Islamic Bank of Iraq (P.J.S.C.), Based on the provisions of Article 87/Second of the Companies Law No. (21) of 1997 (as amended), and pursuant to the invitation issued by the Chairman of the Board of Directors following the decision of the Board of Directors in its session No. (306) held on 2025/4/15, we are pleased to invite you to attend the annual General Assembly meeting to be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, 2025/5/24, at the Diwan Hall in Al-Alwiyah Club to discuss the agenda items listed below: Discussion and approval of the Board of Directors’ report on the bank’s activities for the fiscal year ending on 2024/12/31. Discussion and approval of the auditors’ report for the fiscal year ending on 2024/12/31. Discussion and approval of the Audit Committee’s report for the fiscal year ending on 2024/12/31. Discussion and approval of the financial statements and final accounts for the fiscal year ending on 2024/12/31. Discussion of the 2024 dividend distribution and taking the appropriate decision. Discussion of increasing the company’s capital by (35,100,000,000) IQD (thirty-five billion and one hundred million Iraqi dinars) in accordance with Article (55/Second) of the Companies Law No. (21) of 1997 (as amended), and amending Article (Fourth) of the company’s Articles of Association, and taking the appropriate decision. Appointment of auditors for the year 2025 and authorizing the Board of Directors to determine their fees in accordance with the instructions and regulations of the Board of Auditing and Accounting Profession. Discussion of selling the bank’s shares and participations in companies whose activities conflict with the bank’s Islamic operations in compliance with the instructions of the Sharia Supervisory Board. Discussion of selling the bank’s shares and participations in other companies that do not align with the strategic direction or do not provide economic feasibility for the bank. Consideration of discharging the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors and determining their remuneration, and authorizing the Board to determine the remuneration and fees of the Sharia Supervisory Board members. Please attend in person or authorize another shareholder to represent you using the proxy forms available at the bank, or by issuing a notarized power of attorney. Proxies and authorizations must be submitted to the Securities Commission at least three days before the scheduled meeting date in accordance with Articles (91 and 94) of the Companies Law No. (21) of 1997 (as amended), along with proof of shareholding from the Iraqi Depository Center and, in the case of proxy, proof of the represented shareholder’s ownership. If the legal quorum is not met, the meeting will be postponed to the following week at the same time and place on Saturday, 2025/5/31.

Ziggurat of Ur

The ziggurat of Ur 𒂍𒋼𒅎𒅍 is one of the oldest temples that remained in Iraq, located about 40 km west of the city of Nasiriyah (340 km south of Baghdad), built by the Sumerian king Ur Namu 𒌨𒀭𒇉, founder of the third dynasty of Ur, and its greatest king in 2100 BC.m It is considered evidence that people at the time converted to a wide range of religions.

Saving Iraqi Culture

The Monument of Saving Iraqi Culture is a statue built in 2010 by Iraqi artist and sculptor Mohammed Ghani Hikmat, located on the Karkh side of Baghdad, in the Mansour area near Al-Zawra Park and Park.
